This project, funded by Korean government, develops the first class ball screws after all the manufacturing processes were renovated as well as the design processes.

 

M.S. Thesis : The Study on the Stiffness and Efficiency of Ball Screws
ABSTRACT:
Ball screws are commonly used in linear motion feeding systems of various machine tools and automated measurment systems. Desiging high performance feeding systems needs to calculate the stiffness and efficiency of the ball screws more precisely and fix the design variables on narrow design criteria. This research presents an effective way of calculating the axial-stiffness and efficiency of ballscrews.
